Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku) (hereinafter referred to as “Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku)”) recognizes the importance of protecting personal information entrusted to us by customers and employees in the course of conducting our business in education and training, foreign language translation and online language courses, editing and publication of materials, and operation of our own social media platforms. We establish the following privacy policy, ensuring that all employees comply with it, and we strive to handle and protect personal information appropriately and strictly.

1. Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku) will acquire, use, and provide personal information appropriately, considering the nature and scale of our business. We will handle personal information within the necessary scope to achieve the specified purposes of use and take measures to prevent its use for other purposes.
2. Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku) will not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual, except as required by law.
3. Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku) will comply with laws, guidelines established by the government, and other regulations regarding the handling of personal information. We will establish and appropriately operate a personal information protection management system based on the Japanese Industrial Standard “Personal Information Protection Management System – Requirements” (JIS Q 15001).
4. Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku) will take measures to prevent and correct any leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.
5. When outsourcing the handling of personal information in whole or in part, Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku) will supervise the outsourced party as necessary and appropriate to ensure the safety management of the entrusted personal information.
6. Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku) will respond appropriately and promptly to complaints and consultations regarding the handling of personal information. We will also respond appropriately and promptly to requests for disclosure, notification of purpose of use, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties of the retained personal information, as well as disclosure of records of third-party provision.
7. Miku Inc. (Gōdō Gaisha Miku) will continuously improve its personal information protection management system.
