Mari Sensei
- From: Tokyo
- Japanese teaching experience: 7 years
- Mari-sensei began working as a part-time lecturer at a Japanese language school in Tokyo seven years ago and lived in Hong Kong for six years. She is a Japanese language expert who works as a writer, editor, and translator for Chinese and Japanese. Mari-sensei enjoys cooking and gourmet food, and she is a cat lover, too.

N5 Japanese Course
- N5-1 Course
A beginner’s course starting from the basics of hiragana pronunciation to the basic pronunciation rules of Japanese. - N5-2 Course
An introductory course on verbs and adjectives. Understand the grammar of polite language and the relationship between verbs and particles. - N5-3 Course
Understanding various forms of Japanese verbs. Master the te-form, nai-form, ta-form, and dictionary form. - N5-4 Course
Learn grammar to further express feelings and opinions with expressions like “to omoimasu” and “tara.”

N4 Japanese Course
- An intermediate course for students who have completed the N5 course.
- Divided into 4 stages, similar to the N5 course.
- Deep dive into various verb forms: potential form, passive form, causative form, etc.
- A comprehensive understanding in basic everyday conversation and simple articles.
- Upon course completion, students are eligible for taking the JLPT N4 level exam.

N3 Japanese Course
- An intermediate course for students who have completed the N4 course.
- Divided into 4 stages, similar to the N5 course.
- Learn advanced keigo (honorific language) and written Japanese grammar.
- Understand Japanese used in everyday situations to a certain extent.
- Upon course completion, students are eligible for taking the JLPT N3 level exam.
- From 2024, passing the JLPT N3 exam will be recognized as equivalent to the Japanese language exam in Hong Kong’s high school graduation exams (DSE).

N2 Japanese Course
- An intermediate course for students who have completed the N3 course.
- Divided into 6 stages.
- Learn more advanced Japanese grammar and understand Japanese used in a wider range of situations.
- Upon course completion, students are eligible for taking the JLPT N2 level exam.
